Kinsella's 2013 Zinfandel Spencer Vineyard comes from Dry Creek and tips the scales at a lofty 15.5% natural alcohol. It is full-bodied and opulent, with loads of black raspberry fruit intermixed with pepper, loamy soil notes and a touch of underbrush. It is delicious, long, heady and sumptuous. Drink it over the next 5-7 years.

Dense and fairly ripe, with powerful notes of smoky blackberry, bitter chocolate and spiced licorice. Burly tannins frame the finish. Best from 2018 through 2023.
