Fresh up front, with a beam of cassis and cherry preserve flavors leading the way, while sweet spice, singed vanilla and licorice root notes start to chime in on the back end. The finish is just a bit on the firm side. Best from 2021 through 2027. 27,275 cases made.

With just 1% Merlot, this bold red is plush, lush and brimming in black and red cherry. The ripe, fleshy and fruit-forward style is tempered by sweet tobacco and oak, a richly concentrated offering of substance and power.

Blended of 99% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Merlot, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley sports a deep garnet-purple color, revealing notes on the nose of stewed plums, baked blackberries and Morello cherries plus wafts of tree bark, charcoal and cloves. Medium-bodied, the palate has lovely freshness and a good amount of black fruit preserves flavors, supported by chewy tannins and finishing savory.
