Are you ready for your palate to run circles around your brain as you try and describe the emotions a seriously delicious Mourvèdre-dominant wine imparts on your senses? The aromas and flavors are seductively reductive at first then open up to a velvety, seamless, and bountiful combination of savory, floral, earthy, and fruity elements. Texture is broad, spanning the whole palate with long, fine-grained tannins.

Another gem is the 2018 Veracity, which boasts a medium to full-bodied, focused, elegant style that's the hallmark of this estate to go with plenty of intensity and opulence in its jammy blackberry fruits and notes of ground pepper, violets, and spicy nuances. It has firm yet ripe tannins, and everything is nicely balanced. It can certainly be enjoyed today, but it will be even better in 2-3 years and evolve for a decade.

Deep, bright-rimmed violet. Potent, spice-accented red and blue fruit preserve, floral and baking spice scents and a hint of vanilla. Juicy, energetic and sharply focused on the palate, offering appealingly sweet boysenberry and cherry cola flavors and a spicy jolt of cracked pepper. The floral note comes back strong on a persistent finish that features a resonating blue fruit note and smooth, even tannins. 81% raised in French oak barrels of varying size, 28% of them new, and 19% in concrete tulips.

Roasted black-cherry and black-plum aromas are laced with mocha and charred meat on the nose of this blend of 48% Mourvèdre, 39% Grenache and 13% Syrah. The palate packs both power and elegance, as the rich, viscous flavors of charred berry, violet and meat are contained by chalky tannins and a backbone of acidity.
