|Region||California, Napa Valley|
Our 2019 Napa Valley Cabernet is expressive with aromas of dark cocoa, red berry, and dried herbs. The palate is lush and fruit-forward with hints of spice and leather. The tannin is polished-fully integrated and balanced through the lengthy finish.
Rich and fleshy in feel, but with a nice juicy edge for balance, this lets creamed plum and blackberry fruit spill forth, laced liberally with mocha, singed alder, sweet tobacco and melted black licorice. For the hedonist crowd. Drink now through 2035. 6,300 cases made.
The winery's largest bottling, approximately 38,000 cases, is the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley. Primarily from the Hardester Ranch in Pope Valley, with other major contributions from St. Helena, Soda Canyon and Glass Mountain, it's a medium to full-bodied effort, with bold flavors of cherries, cassis and cedar. It's easy, but not soft, nicely firm, with a long, silky-textured finish.
