The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard shows the fresher, elegant style of the vintage yet brings gorgeous purity of fruit as well as plenty of density and depth. Darker currants and blueberry-like fruits, as well as spring flowers, violets, iron, and hints of espresso, all define the aromatics, and it's medium to full-bodied on the palate, with a concentrated, dense, focused style, building tannins, and a great finish. It has an incredible sense of class. I was able to follow this bottle for multiple days and it only improved with air, so do your best to hide bottles for a solid 4-5 years if you can, and if you're opening bottles any time over the coming couple of years, give it a good hour in a decanter.

The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard shows the vintage's hallmark acidity, prolonging the stunning finish. Mint, red cherries, black cherries, dusty earth and a hint of cedar appear on the nose, while the full-bodied palate never seems overly rich or heavy, framed by silky tannins and crisp acids.
