Rewa Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon is terrific. It offers tons of textural richness in a pretty overt style for Coombsville. Blackberry, chocolate, licorice, spice, leather and gravel are all amplified in this potent, heady Cabernet. Bright acids and lifted floral top notes resonate on the close. This is such a distinctive wine.

Rewa's 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon is all Cabernet Sauvignon from the estate's unique mix of gravelly loam and powdery white soils. Black cherries, cassis and blueberries combine on the nose to offer lovely fruit without being simply fruity, while the palate is medium to full-bodied and silky-textured, with those fine-grained tannins lingering elegantly on the finish.
