Clone 6 from a great terroir of Howell Mountain. The Howell Mountain Select leads with elegant and expressive floral and dark fruit-driven aromatics. Subtle hints of sweet cedar box and currant give way to a rich and concentrated palate of dark fruit preserves, perfectly supported by ripe, firm tannin and perfect acidity to highlight and lift the almost micro-complexity in flavor profile. More cassis and sweet herb linger along the finish, which lasts an impressive length of time. Decant if drinking upon release or hold in the cellar for 3-5 years. A classic example of top-level Howell Mountain Cabernet.
