Starting with 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Cru, which is a blend of multiple sites, it offers a saturated purple color as well as a juicy, soft, delicious style in its darker, bluer fruits and leafy herbs. It has terrific purity and I suspect it's ideal for drinking over the coming 7-8 years. The blend is 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot, 3% Malbec, and 2% Cabernet Franc that spent 18 months in 50% new French oak.

The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Cru has a deep purple-black color and features a very pretty perfume of roses and violets over a core of warm cassis and blueberry pie plus wafts of mossy bark and yeast extract. Medium to full-bodied, it fills the palate with perfumed, juicy black fruits, supported by a plush frame and finishing with a peppery kick.

Juicy and direct, with a good beam of raspberry and cherry preserve flavors that pick up singed vanilla and tobacco notes along the way. Drink now through 2022.
