Seven Stones Cabernet Sauvignon 2016
|Region||California, Napa Valley|
Composed of 91% Cabernet Sauvignon and 9% Cabernet Franc, the deep garnet-purple colored 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon gives beautiful crushed red and black currants, blackberry compote and wild blueberries scents with touches of menthol, cigar box and fertile loam plus a waft of wild sage. Full-bodied and firm, with bags of savory and earthy layers, it's framed by a rock-solid structure, finishing very long. 580 cases produced, to be released in August 2019.
The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon is bold and explosive, with superb aromatic intensity and a real sense of gravitas that runs through the wine. Espresso, tobacco, cedar and menthol flesh out as this beautifully textured, sumptuous Cabernet opens up with time in the glass. Ample and full-bodied, the 2016 is a gorgeous expression of this striking hillside St. Helena site.
