I just opened a bottle and to my surprise it was still pretty good. Only drank half and on day 2 it was still good. 9/20/2020

This wine has always had a cedary edge to the ripe cherry, mint and currant flavors, and it's still aging quite well if a shade past its peak. Turns quite tannic on the finish.--1979 California Cabernet retrospective. Drink now through 2005. 2,700 cases made.
