Brimming with concentrated dark fruit, savory roasted herbs and meat, earthy forest floor, and wet soil, this wine is generous and harmonious in youth, but it is sure to age beautifully thanks to its balance of flavor and texture from palate entry to finish.

This blend of 47% Syrah, 20% Mourvèdre, 18% Grenache, 12% Tempranillo and 3% Graciano offers brooding aromas of black plum, blackberry, violet and wood spice. Silky yet firm tannins frame the endlessly pleasurable palate, where roasted berry and plum flavors weave into mocha and chai spices. Drink through 2038.

Opaque ruby. Aromas of candied black and blue fruits, allspice, mocha and smoky minerals pick up a suave floral nuance with aeration. Juicy and energetic on the palate, offering soapy blackberry, cherry cola, candied violet and spicecake flavors and a hint of salty olive paste. Polished tannins add shape to an impressively long, lively finish that leaves a repeating floral note behind. Raised in a combination of French oak barrels and puncheons, half of them new.
