Lerner Project's entry-level wine is the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Project 18. Framed by vanilla-stained oak and cedar notes, there's no question about the oak's quality. Thankfully, the wood is backed by plush black cherries and hints of cassis on the nose, while the full-bodied palate is ripe, rich and round, with a long, velvety finish.
