Outer quote mark Note: a négociant wine though Séguier points out that there is always some domaine fruit in the final blend; note that Champs Royaux is a trademarked cuvée name, not the name of a vineyard. There is plenty of Chablis character present on the cool aromas of mostly citrus and apple. The delicious and plump medium-weight flavors possess a bit more volume if not quite the same depth on the wonderfully refreshing and moderately dry finale. Inner quote mark (9/2022)

- v86-88
The 2021 Chablis Champs Royaux, which sees 5% ageing in wood, is more austere and distant compared to the Petit Chablis. The palate is well-balanced with a fine bead of acidity, fresh and citric with a steely finish. Just pulls up a little short on the aftertaste.
